TOL runs a variety of programs in post-communist Europe and Central Asia that include workshops, distance learning, and internships – with two main aims: to offer practical journalism training, and to help participants either improve existing media outlets or set up new ones.
- Religion and the Media
Transitions (TOL) is launching a Distance Journalism Learning course for media professionals and bloggers from Central Asia. This course will be conducted in blog format “Religion and the Media”. Applications will be accepted from media professionals and citizen journalists from Central Asia. Admission policy is free of charge. The working language is Russian. Applications are accepted until March 19th, 2010.
