Learn foreign reporting on this highly popular course. The trainers are all experienced correspondents, and you'll get a practical taste of international reporting - researching, writing and filing your own story from Prague.
What will you learn?
By tapping into the instructors’ first-hand experiences, you will learn the essential skills of international reporting, including:
Story-writing project
The course also features a practical story-writing project, giving you the chance to research and write a story under the guidance of the trainers. The story will then be critiqued by professional journalists. (For more information about the reporting project, have a look at Michael Jordan's article in Harvard's Nieman Reports.)
Social program
In addition to the training sessions, we've arranged few social activities so you can meet your fellow participants, TOL staff and the course trainers. Activities include a welcome dinner, midweek concert, Friday drinks and farewell dinner.
